In no particular order, here are some facts about Lightning Gator. Any factual inaccuracies will not be resolved.

Lightning Gator is an ensemble cast, including Thucco, Thucclet and Slippy Boi.
The first son, this bear has earned many titles, and usually just goes by 'Thucco'.
The second son, adopted at the end of Amanda's college years.
Adopted from a Walmart dollar bin on Valentine's day, Slippy Boi become the third son in our family.
Even though the family lineage is a bit scandalous, the bois still enjoy each others company and love hanging out with each other.
What is Marf? No one knows. Should you look at him? Probably not. But Marf has also been apart of the family, and has led to many fits of uncontrollable laughter. Like any Marf, Marf gets forgotten.
After a scorching hot summer day, we found refuge at a local taco place. Amanda nearly choked to death on a burrito.
This led to a yearly tradition of going to fast-food restaurants to compare various menu items, including burgers, chicken nuggets, french fries. This day is known as our Trashy Anniversary, the 14th of August
To make up for the injustices of the Taco Bell first date, we dedicated the 14th of October to our Fancy Anniversary, a day when we dress, eat amazing food, and usually go into a fancy food coma.
Amanda's birthday is on the 14th of April, and Zack's birthday is on the 14th of June. It only made sense to fill out the other 14th days. Valentine's Day (Slippy Boi's adoption day) is also the 14th of February.
Not really, but the day is open for a special occasion.
Lightning Gator has not had any significance around the 14th day of any odd months. Except for May 14th, 2021.
It is the date when this was written, and is also the day perfectly between Amanda and Zack's birthdays. They are both 25, a quarter-century old. It feels like there is some cosmological time thing that is significant about that that I won't be able to eloquently capture in words. It's a day that represents the nearest midpoint between our birthdays, and what better day to choose for proposing a lifelong union than a day that can always been
NOTE: The ring was supposed to arrive by now, but hasn't. Amazon says it is out for delivery and should arrive by 9 PM tonight. It got there in time.
Answer: YES!! Amanda cried (an embarrassing amount of) happy tears, accepted wholeheartedly, and has looked at this website countless times since Zack showed it to her because she loves it so much.
